How Was Your Morning?

I spent mine with Lily Baker wearing one of my old cocktail dresses and giving a tea party to her favorite animals.



Seriously. Does it get any better than that?!








I find myself often saying that when Lily Baker starts school full time, I'll have so much more time to do things. I'll work more, I'll rejoin a Bible study group, I'll start exercising again.

And then I have a morning like this one and I wonder, why in the world am I rushing this??!

Nothing - absolutely nothing - beats spending time with her. Because one day she'll decide that having tea parties in my old cocktail dresses won't be fun anymore.

And I'll miss that.
