We had planned on selling our Bama-Florida football tickets and making some money, until we got the phone call last week from my best friend, Olivia.
Our goddaughter, Mary Win, broke her arm - her humerus, to be exact. It was a nasty break which required surgery and pins. Through it all the child never cried - not after she broke it, not at the hospital, not while they were starting her IV. She was such a trooper!
We decided to head on to Tuscaloosa and spend Sunday visiting her. She was doing great and gets her purple cast this week - which AC thinks is beyond cool!
