Staying home with your kids will make you question your strength. Staying home with your kids will be the toughest job you'll ever have. And you love it it.

It's difficult (trying being a stay-at-home dad, it's even harder), but being home with and for your kids is worth every headache, every frazzled nerve, and every gray hair it produces.Willhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05750781893685344095noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2522972471185155408.post-8760468470179865442008-10-02T08:39:00.000-05:002008-10-02T08:39:00.000-05:00Dear Amy, What wonderful news! Not going back to work after my preemie was home from the NICU seemed very natural. Now, 5 years later, I find that I do miss some things about working as an RN. The feeling of productivity and adult interaction is nice!
When I look at my children, even on the tough days, I can't help but feel overwhelmed with thankfulness that I get to be with them and raise them!
I'm sure you will settle right into your new routine.

One thing I know for sure, I will never regret staying home with my kids!
Blessings to your family
-PattyThe Hull Munchkinshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05331288084181649305noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2522972471185155408.post-55091928192421527332008-10-01T21:03:00.000-05:002008-10-01T21:03:00.000-05:00Amy,I'm so happy for you in your decision. I have ...Amy,
I'm so happy for you in your decision. I have 3 children ages 11,16, and 20. I stayed home with them in the years before they started to school and have no regrets whatsoever. It was tough sometimes, but those were some of the happiest days of my life. I have since begun a new career because I still want to be with them as much as possible. I can identify with the "Oh, no" feeling when one gets sick and I have to rearrange. You will be so glad to be able to take care of your girls without feeling stress when they are sick.

Don't try to do all those projects at once. You'll find a balance. There may be days when you don't feel like you accomplished anything, but rest assured you did in some form or another. Your girls will always look back fondly on the happy memories you create with them during these years. Our babies don't want a supermom; they just want to know they are important to Mom. I wish you many happy days with your family. :)teachermomhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/18068038164196495509noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2522972471185155408.post-87213612753322874672008-10-01T12:13:00.000-05:002008-10-01T12:13:00.000-05:00Congratulations! Maybe it was by accident, maybe not ;)! I chose to stay home with my kids, now they are in college and about to graduate from high school. I have never regretted staying home with them for a second. I enoy being here when they come home from school, and meeting their friends. I get to do alot of volunteering at my church, and sneak off and have lunch with my husband while they are at school.Life on the farm...https://www.blogger.com/profile/04434372565635796128noreply@blogger.com
